Ambassador Guo Haiyan and President Ali attend BMGG Commissioning Ceremony of Kiln #15 and Maz Project

On July 7, Bosai Mineral Group (Guyana) Inc. (BMGG) hosted the Commissioning Ceremony of Kiln #15 and Maz Project, Ambassador Guo Haiyan was invited to attend together with H.E. Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana. 

In her remarks, Ambassador Guo stated that Cooperation in mining between China and Guyana is significant. The Chinese mining companies have made big amount investment in Guyana, created over 2,500 jobs for local people, increased their income and improved their livelihood. She emphasized that Chinese Government attaches great importance to issues of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, climate change etc., Chinese Government is guiding Chinese companies to fully abide by Guyana’s laws, operate in good faith, fulfill social responsibilities, to meet the requirement of Guyana’s sustainable development.

Vikram Bharrat, Minister of Natural Resources, Hon. Bishop Juan Edghill, Minister of Public Works, Hon. Robeson Benn, Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Deron Adams, the Regional Chairman of Region 10, Mr. Sharma Solomon, the Major of Linden, Mr. Yuan Lingnan, General Manager of Bosai China attended.
